Sodium Hypochlorite

This chemical is widely used for its disinfecting, oxidising and bleaching properties.  As it is so versatile it has many uses including: disinfection of swimming pools, cooling water treatment, disinfection of drinking water, wastewater treatment, producing of cleaning and disinfecting agents, bleaching and the cleaning and disinfection of installations.

For Swimming Pools

Function:
A liquid form of chlorine used as a sanitiser in swimming pools.  It is also used as a shock treatment for very green pools which contain a lot of algae.

Pool Dose:
As a guide 400ml of fresh sodium hypochlorite will increase the free chlorine level by 1ppm in a 10,000 gallon pool.

Dosing Method: 
Add the required dosage directly to the pool, distributing as widely as possible and allow to circulate.

• Not suitable for Spas.

For use as a Patio Cleaner & Moss Remover

Apply the solution and leave and within minutes you will see the results.  Take the hard work out of cleaning drives, block paving, fences, walls, stonework, brick work, paths, patios, decking, gravelled areas and even roofs!   Usually a maximum solution of 50% will be more than effective.

Note: Sodium Hypochlorite loses strength over time so we recommend that you do not buy more than 3 months supply at once.
