Prosan Bleach Tablets are a UK Produced “Actichlor” equivalent Tablet with the same Chlorine Donor (NaDCC / sodium dichloroisocyanurate / troclosene sodium) in an effervescent base.

Prosan Chlorine Tablets are recommended and used by Dental Associations and Bodies, typically for: disinfecting impressions and devices, dealing with blood/ body fluid spills, multiple hard surface disinfection such as plastic water storage bottles, work surfaces and any other chlorine resistant hard surface. TECHNICAL: When dissolved in water, the tablets produce Hypochlorous acid (HOCl or HClO). This is an acid that forms when chlorine dissolves in water, and itself partially dissociates, forming hypochlorite, ClO−. HClO and ClO− are oxidizers, and the primary disinfection agents of chlorine solutions.
