Guide Note:  If water is visibly contaminated or bilharzia is known to be present, strain the contamination through a suitable filter and double the tablet dose then check for a chlorine residual after treatment. If no residual chlorine, repeat dose until chlorine is present.

Aquatab 8.5mg NaDCC Tablets are packed in paper tearable strips of 10 tablets for convenience
Fast dissolving – <3 minutes
Low risk areas (Europe) – Treats 1 – 2 Litres per tablet (at 5ppm – 2.5ppm available chlorine)
Medium risk areas (Asia) – Treats 0.5 – 1 Litres (at 10ppm – 5ppm available chlorine)

High risk areas where Bilharzia or Giardia are present – these tablets are not really suitable – Use a stronger tablet.  If no other option, we suggest 2 tablets in 0.5L for 20 minutes contact time and check for a residual chlorine before drinking.
